I’ve been a marketer since the age of 6 when I discovered that I could make my younger, yet larger, twin brothers stop pummeling me if I could interest them in something new. To this end I interested them in eating dirt. My mother, who was not amused, did not appreciate the nuance of making them WANT to eat dirt versus making them eat dirt and I spent the rest of a perfectly beautiful afternoon in my bedroom. I learned a very important lesson that day about the power of marketing and how not to misuse it.
My current professional life consists of responsibly marketing higher education. I specialize in: branding and identity,integrated marketing communications, social media marketing strategies, public relations and strategic management. For the rest of the story visit my LinkedIn Profile.
My favorite pastime is exploring the cuisine of other cultures and I travel whenever possible collecting cookbooks, ingredients, experiences, stories, friends and whatever else captures my attention.
